Icicle: Clear

leave a comment »

Christmas lights give off the most beautiful light.

As a photographer, you begin to view the world in the amount of available light. And if you’re really into the whole natural lighting thing, then you really begin to notice the light in a room. For a while now, I’ve had white icicle lights hanging in my room, and they’re perfect for the job. Especially in dorms, where the rooms are lit mainly by fluorescents, the small incandescents do a good job of spreading light across a room. The hundreds of little light sources are easier on the eyes, especially while reading. And in photos, the light comes out even with great tones—and never harsh.
